There has been a definite change in the construction industry towards the end of April. Contractors have been been reviewing how to work safely on site in line with the guidelines of Revision 3 of the Site Operating Procedures published by the Construction Leadership Council. Central London sites have been opening up again where previously they were closed and May will see a rapid continuation of this.
We have all been adjusting to a new way of working safely. This crisis is far from over but hopefully we are now beginning to come out the other side.
We are following Government advice with staff working away from the office wherever possible. We have invested heavily in our IT infrastructure. Staff have remote access to all our project files and software, host shared collaborative project information sites and chair virtual meetings through Zoom and Teams. We will continue to respond to the challenges put in front of us with as little disturbance to business as possible. Stay safe and look out for others.

Box managed the fast-track fitout of a five-storey townhouse on Fitzrovia’s Charlotte Street into the Sicilian Norma Restaurant. Meticulously designed by Rosendale Design, the restaurant takes its Moorish influences into the mosaics and marble.

This project consisted of the fast track fitout for six high quality duplex apartments in Clerkenwell.
The site is located on the fifth & sixth floors of this iconic former printworks building. The design was in keeping with the building architecture and included glazed Crittall partitions and black brassware & sanitaryware.
The apartments have successfully pre-let on a long-lease for short-term apartment stays.
Box hosted our first ever Clay Pigeon Shoot event at the Bisley Shooting Ground in Surrey.
The event was attended by leading property industry figures from the hospitality, residential and student accommodation sectors.
Top Gun was Andrew Shaw of Jurys Inn with a 100% score in the competition event with an extremely high standard of shooting (almost!) throughout.
It was a great day of networking and many thanks to everyone who attended.
