Our Spanish office is undertaking all Valeo Management's current Iberian student accommodation projects (Barcelona, Granada, Sevilla, Porto I and Porto II).
Along with our client and partner teams, BOX accomplished very complex pre-construction stage tasks such as the management of legal / technical due diligences, feasibility studies, fund approvals, design development management from inception to construction, value engineering and high level negotiations in councils planning departments. In addition we have undertaken the successful management and negotiations of different tenders and completely bespoke construction contracts.
We wish all the luck to the team with these five projects and we are looking forward to the grand openings this September 2021 of “LIV Student Polo Universitario, Porto” and “LIV Student Granada”.
Site progress update as follows:
Barcelona - excavations, piling and most of the retaining walls completed.
Granada - all pods installed in 3 buildings and partition walls almost completed in buildings 1 and 2.
Seville - excavations and most of retaining walls finalised; currently constructing basement slab.
Porto I - scaffolding removed in building B and halfway removed in building A. FF&E installed in 8 floors of both buildings.
Porto II - excavations almost finalised in blocks ABCDEFH.
Box have a number of student accommodation projects underway.
We are putting together the professional team for a new build student accommodation in Euston with 77 rooms with a basement, ground floor and 6 upper floors including break out and relaxation areas for the students.
We have a further 5 ongoing in Europe.
Our extensive residential refurbishment project in London has commenced on site.
After an accelerated and ambitious procurement process, the successful contractor was appointed in January and started works as programmed.
The pressure remains to complete the project within the client's strict timeframe.
Box have been appointed on two new projects in December.
Working from our satellite office in Paris, we have started on the renovation of a luxury apartment in the 8th arrondissement.
Closer to home, we are also working on a contemporary new build home in south London with basement in a very challenging location.
Our residential project in Knightsbridge is nearing completion.
The development comprises six lateral apartments, a duplex penthouse and two triplex 'town houses' with private entrances. There is concierge, gym and lift access to all apartments..
Box has secured a high end residential development in NW London.
The scheme comprises the facade retention, basement excavation and rebuild to comprise luxury apartments.
Box has been working in Spain for several years and set up a permanent office in 2018 through Box Project and Cost Management España.
Our office is located in the capital at Calle del Pinar 5, Madrid, 28006, Spain.
We have a long history of working in both the Spanish mainland and the islands. We now have a permanent presence to enable us to continue to grow the business in Spain and for Spanish clients overseas.
We have secured projects throughout Spain as well as Portugal which will be managed from the Spanish office.
Box are undertaking a number of projects in France from our Paris base.
We have worked in France for many years, from hotels across the country to office fitouts and prime residential in the capital.
We are currently appointed on a number of residential schemes in Paris.
